About us
The Enfield and Haringey Local Dental Committee (EHLDC) is a statutory NHS body representing general dental practitioners working in the North London boroughs of Enfield and Haringey. LDC memberships includes dentists with a GDS contract, and other NHS contracts by arrangement.
As well as providing contractural advice to our constituents, we actively represent them at local commissioning level, and communicate local concerns at national level. We are there to inform local practitioners of local and national issues, such as contact reform.
The LDC constitution is a locally specific legal framework, its template formulated by the British Dental Association and accepted by NHS England.
Committee meetings are held four times a year, with an AGM in May or June. The LDC also arranges subsidised CPD events for its members.
We encourage local dentists to attend committee meetings. The committee is a valuable source of information, and meetings are friendly and informative. In addition to this, the secretary and chair are available to give advice. If there is a problem we cannot solve, we can point you in the right direction.

Minor Oral Surgery
Referring a patient for an extraction is straightforward. They can accept direct referrals. Simply fill in the referral form and send via secure email to the NHS address nhsdental.nlondon.mossolutionsV03447@nhs.net, or send a typed and posted referral to:

MOS Solutions have two sites within the LDC.

Smilecare Dental Centre for Haringey, Camden and Islington
Referrals for endodontic treatment must be completed electronically using the following form.
This should be sent to Uclh.referrals.endodontics@nhs.net who will if appropriate send on to us after they have assessed it for suitability.
